Public Relations and Media

Lead the Foundation’s efforts to build and strengthen its institutional reputation, develop strategic relationships with media outlets and development partners, and position Manar Foundation as an influential organization in community engagement and sustainable development.

1. Brand Image and Reputation Management

  • Design and implement integrated strategies to strengthen the Foundation’s institutional image at the local and international levels.
  • Develop clear institutional messaging that reflects the Foundation’s vision, values, and development mission.
  • Monitor and analyze public perceptions and emerging trends, addressing reputation-related challenges.
  • Enhance the Foundation’s reputation among partners and target audiences.

2. Media Relations and Institutional Visibility

  • Build and maintain effective, long-term relationships with media outlets, including print, broadcast, digital, and specialized platforms.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of press releases and specialized media content related to the Foundation’s programs and initiatives.
  • Contribute to organizing official events, conferences, and public activities to strengthen the Foundation’s visibility.
  • Draft official speeches, statements, and media communications, and represent the Foundation in media engagements when required.
  • Monitor media coverage, analyze its outcomes, and measure its impact.
  • Coordinate media interviews and press engagements for the Foundation’s team when needed.

3. Strategic Partnerships and Networking

  • Develop and expand partnerships with local, regional, and international organizations and key individuals to maximize impact and knowledge exchange.
  • Represent the Foundation in official meetings, forums, and strategic events.
  • Coordinate internally to activate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and collaborative initiatives with partners.
  • Contribute to strengthening the Foundation’s regional and international presence within the development sector.

4. Institutional Communications

  • Develop and update the Institutional Communications Manual to ensure consistency of messaging across all official communication channels.
  • Coordinate with senior management to align communication policies with the Foundation’s strategic vision.
  • Support media documentation of projects and programs, highlighting achievements internally and externally.

5. Reputation and Crisis Communication Management

  • Monitor and analyze media coverage across traditional and digital platforms.
  • Prepare periodic reports on media performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
  • Develop and implement media crisis response plans and activate communication protocols during emergencies to protect the Foundation’s reputation.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts to ensure timely responses and safeguard the Foundation’s public image.

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and manage strategic relationships with stakeholders to promote transparency, encourage meaningful engagement, and foster collaboration that supports the Foundation’s mission in sustainable development and community engagement.

1. Stakeholder Mapping and Management

  • Develop and regularly update a comprehensive stakeholder map covering local and international stakeholders.
  • Classify stakeholders based on priority, influence, and level of interest to guide strategic engagement efforts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date digital stakeholder database integrated with the Foundation’s systems.

2. Institutional Communication and Engagement

  • Implement effective strategies for regular and open communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement tailored communication plans for different stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure timely and professional responses to stakeholder inquiries, feedback, and suggestions.

3. Participation and Collaborative Engagement

  • Organize consultation sessions, dialogue meetings, and participatory discussions with stakeholders.
  • Develop mechanisms that enable stakeholders to contribute to the design and evaluation of programs.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative stakeholder feedback to improve program design and responsiveness to community needs.

4. Community Engagement and Sense of Belonging

  • Organize community and engagement events that strengthen stakeholder belonging and participation.
  • Highlight stakeholder success stories and inspiring initiatives.
  • Coordinate the provision of tailored training and advisory services based on identified needs and recommend relevant experts when appropriate.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning

  • Collect and analyze stakeholder engagement and membership data to improve performance.
  • Prepare periodic reports measuring stakeholder engagement, satisfaction, and relationship quality.
  • Conduct surveys to assess stakeholder satisfaction with the Foundation’s programs and services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Media, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in public relations, media, or institutional communications, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Previous experience in the non-profit, development, or international NGO sector is preferred.
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
