Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project documents, such as the Project Charter, Gantt Chart, RACI Matrix, Stakeholder Matrix, and Risk, Issue, and Lessons Learned Register.
  • Prepare and coordinate materials required for project meetings, including presentation slides, reports, printed materials, worksheets, and surveys.
  • Develop, coordinate, and organize agendas and meetings for project team members, executive management, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Follow up on the implementation of project tasks and activities with other departments and units within the organization.
  • Schedule, plan, and facilitate events, workshops, trainings, mentoring sessions, and other key project activities.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including statistical analysis, surveys, interviews, and case studies, to collect and analyze data.
  • Provide information, data analyses, and reports to the Project Manager in accordance with their guidance regarding project tasks and objectives.
  • Contribute to designing projects that meet beneficiary and donor expectations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • One to two years of experience in previous development projects in the fields of social entrepreneurship, community initiatives, and volunteerism.
  • Good understanding of the development sector, international funding mechanisms, and their nature and challenges.
  • Good understanding of the development and humanitarian context in Syria.
  • Knowledge of the PMD Pro development project management methodology.
  • Good knowledge of social entrepreneurship ecosystems and volunteer activities.
  • Full proficiency in Arabic. Good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Development, or any related field.
