Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Implementation of Activities
    • Provide strategic leadership to ensure project success, manage and mentor staff for professional growth.
    • Contributing to the writing of concept notes and project proposals in collaboration with the R&D Department.
    • Develop the project plans (including gantt chart, resources, risks, communication, cash flow, and etc) and follow up on their implementation step by step.
    • Participate in project financial planning and project budget development.
    • Coordinate field activities and ensure the availability of all resources and logistics required for the project team.
    • Directly supervise field implementation and address operational challenges and day-to-day issues affecting implementation.
  • Coordination and Communication
  • Serve as a primary liaison between the Operations Department, other departments, and local partners.
  • Maintain continuous coordination with beneficiaries to ensure their effective participation and understanding of their needs.
  • Communicate with project consultants and experts, follow up on service delivery, and ensure quality control.
  • Represent the organization in local coordination meetings, sector working groups, clusters when assigned.
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
    • Collect and analyze field data and periodic reports to ensure alignment with targeted indicators.
    • Prepare periodic progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and final reports in Arabic or English (according to the language agreed upon for the project) and submit them to the direct supervisor.
    • Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to document success stories and lessons learned from the project.
  • Financial and Logistics Management
    • Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with the approved budget in coordination with the Finance Department.
    • Prepare procurement requests and logistical requirements related to project activities and follow up with the Shared Services Department to ensure timely delivery.
    • You will be trusted to take on additional assignments within the scope of work as assigned by your supervisor on need basis.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Development, or any related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in managing development projects in the fields of economic empowerment and community empowerment.
  •  Strong understanding of the development sector, international funding mechanisms, their nature and challenges, as well as donor requirements and policies.
  • Strong understanding of the development and humanitarian context in the Levant region.
  • Good knowledge of social entrepreneurship ecosystems and volunteer initiatives.
  • Holder of a PMD Pro or PMP certification.
  • Full proficiency in Arabic; good command of English (reading, writing, and speaking) is preferred.
