Job Responsibilities For Content Writer
- Produce and manage the organization’s editorial and marketing content across its platforms.
- Write and prepare articles and digital content for the organization’s platforms and projects.
- Draft news, press reports, and marketing content.
- Write texts for advertising campaigns and email messages.
- Edit and review content submitted by other teams to ensure quality.
- Optimize and adapt content for search engines (SEO optimized).
- Collaborate with designers and video teams to develop integrated visual and textual content.
- Prepare a monthly content plan aligned with the organization’s communication plan.
Qualifications and Requirements For Content Writer
- A degree in Media, Journalism, Arabic Language, Public Relations, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in editorial and marketing content writing, and content management for development organizations or humanitarian organizations.
- Strong experience in SEO, digital content, and marketing copywriting.
- Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
- Experience in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEOs/keyword research tools.
- Familiarity with concepts of professional and marketing content, and compliance with editorial policies and organizational identity.
- Fluency in Standard Arabic, with preference for strong English writing skills.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication with teams.
- Ability to work under campaign pressure.
