Public Relations (PR) Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the implementation of public relations plans and activities, including supporting the execution of the section’s operational plan.
  • Research, collect, and update information on relevant entities and institutions, and build a database that supports the section’s work.
  • Assist in networking activities and building relationships with institutions and potential partners.
  • Coordinate with media outlets and relevant entities when needed under the supervision of the Section Head.
  • Prepare initial drafts of press releases, informational content, and various media materials.
  • Assist in organizing events, meetings, and conferences, and follow up on coordination and implementation aspects.
  • Monitor media coverage and track and analyze what is published about the organization, and submit related reports.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Section Head within the scope of work and responsibilities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Good experience in the field of public relations.
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English, and the ability to represent the organization to the media.
  • Good knowledge of corporate identity, official protocols, and organizational communication mechanisms.
  • Ability to build relationships and network with various entities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), digital work tools, and email.
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is considered an advantage.
  • Commitment to deadlines, flexibility, and the ability to work with changing task priorities.
  • Good knowledge in areas of development work, community-based work, and social responsibility.
